To keep the spirit of Jazz alive we need to target new audience by organizing jazz workshops prior or during the festival in schools, community and youth organizations

I was just thinking, what if you are given a choice of inviting NOT more than 3 jazz greats no longer with us to the festival as guests. Who would be you choices, Davis, Fitzgerald, Ellington, Coltrane...... Why not get the festival on TV and Radio regular slots...........and spend more on publicity ...quiet a few people I know aren't even aware the festival is on.
