The London Jazz Festival may seem a long time away, what with it only being the beginning of August, but preparations for November's festivities are already in full swing. Over the past couple of weeks we've put a raft of shows on sale, giving you a taste of what's to come in what looks to be the largest Festival yet. From the jazz heavyweights such as Sonny Rollins and Herbie Hancock, to the new generation of trailblazing artists, such as Robert Glasper and Christian Scott, there's something to whet every jazz appetite.

There's been a real buzz around these first announcements in the press, and we've seen some great features on some of the Festival's artists.

Juliette Greco speaks to Clive Davis of The Times about her legendary romance with Miles Davis:

Christian Scott features in the Style section of the Sunday Times:

Herbie Hancock speaks of his new album, The Imagine Project, that he brings to the Festival this year in last week's Telegraph

Mike Flynn leads Herbie in a Q&A session in this week's Time Out

If you want to be the first to hear about the next set of Jazz Festival shows on sale, you can sign up to our e list and receive regular updates. Or if you'd prefer to hear from us elsewhere, you can find us on Facebook and Twitter. Tell us what you think of the line up so far - we'd love to hear from you.
