One of the most distinguished of contemporary jazz composers, Carla Bley makes a long overdue return to London as bandleader. Featuring long-term associates Steve Swallow and Andy Sheppard, the Lost Chords quartet plays her meticulously crafted and witty music to perfection.

From her epic Escalator over the Hill and arrangements for the Liberation Music Orchestra, through a career that has embraced bands small and large, chamber ensemble and collaborations with Robert Wyatt and Nick Mason, Bley continues to create music that aborbs, enchants and delights.

Imaginative UK multi-reedist Julian Siegel leads his highly charged trio that features stunning US rhythm section bassist Greg Cohen and drummer Joey Baron.
